Shawn Wright-Brown grew up in Columbia, MO, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Missouri. She uprooted herself and relocated to Tulsa in 1991, where she settled down to raise her family. 

Before making the decision to enter the real estate field, Shawn worked in positions in both the HR and IT fields, including: PC Instructor, Event Coordinator, HR Director, and currently as the Director of Shared Services for an oil & gas company. “I’ve worked for small companies as well as a Fortune 1000 company,” Shawn explains. “I do all things HR, and have oversight of IT, Cybersecurity, Facilities and company branding.” Shawn has developed many necessary strengths including the ability to manage and organize details while also seeing the big picture. “I excel at process improvement and enjoy the psychology of reading people and discerning their passions and gifts.” She brings these and many other skills to her buyers and sellers today. 

Shawn understands that a list of wants may be fulfilled in many properties, but there is an unspoken “it” factor that makes a certain house THE house. She loves to explore Green Country finding hidden gems. “I often drive neighborhoods to learn how they connect to other editions,” Shawn says. “I consider myself a matchmaker, looking to connect the perfect people with the perfect property.” She values relationships over transactions, and works hard for her clients with attentiveness, authenticity, and loyalty.  

Shawn holds her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), and a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certifications. A full-service agent, she is familiar with residential listings in Tulsa, Catoosa, Owasso, and Broken Arrow, where she currently lives. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering at church. She loves to entertain, cook, and bake, and is an avid reader.
